As important as a central station that monitor external devices, is a central station that monitors itself... This is the functionality that Server Health does in conjunction with service status in order to be able to know the status of your server at any point. Server Health monitors cpu, memory, hard drive, and network usage. It validates excessive usage, at any specific point, or during a configurable period of time.

Some of the ways this extension communicate with you...

• Displaying health information on the main dashboard. All users have a visual interaction with your server information at any point! 
• Signal Alarm Generation.  Operators get notify if server resource usage exceeds any pre-programmed configuration. Operators can be instructed to respond to any specific situation.
• Email & SMS messaging. Similar to signal generation, email and sms can be automated to be sent to internal and/or external IT services.
• SMS response system. Assigned IT (or management member) can request health information thru SMS response system at any time.

This is one of the many benefits of Aural 9 Platform, to extend functionality outside of the simple signal processing form, and help central station been more efficient.
